Kholi plays a series of his life when he scored 4 tons and 7 half centuries in vivo IPL 2016. He is the first indian to cross 800 runs in a single series beating master blaster sunil Gavaskar of 774 runs. He scored 971 runs in 16 matches and falls just a 4 runs short of breaking Bradman's record of 974 runs.
